Upcoming excitement

One year later...

I thought that in light of recent events I'd start trying to blog regularly! What recent event might that be you ask? Well, I'm currently 3 months pregnant and overjoyed and nervous and excited and scared all at once!

We have the prenatal screening test this Thursday, and although it is a somewhat nerve racking event (they are testing for genetic conditions that could mean the baby is not 100% healthy), I'm super excited to see the little monster for the first time!

The hubby and I have been following a growth chart online that compares the size of the baby to a different fruit each week. So far our baby has been a blueberry, a grape, a lime and this week is a plum. Each week we refer to the baby as whatever item the chart says...e.g. "The plum is tired and wants to go home" or "Damn you plum for making Mommy throw up three times before 10am!".

I've had horrible morning sickness that go so bad I was required to go on anti-nausea medication specifically designed for expectant mothers, although lately I've started to feel somewhat better. This morning I did have a set back and hope that tomorrow is better. Please oh please let tomorrow be better and nausea free!!
